The morning of 4/16, we leave the cohorts behind in [[Varnhold]] with instructions to clean up the town and maintain presence. Trying to follow the tracks left by the migration path of people, we head southeast and then east, crossing into the top part of [[F25]]. Trails through the scrublands of the hills don't hold up, so we continue into [[E26]] and make camp for the night.

The next morning, 4/17, having lost any trail or sign of [[Varnhold|Varnhold's]] people, we head NE into [[D26]] and look for the spider fields. We fight some trap door spiders, harvest lots of spider silk, and find some treasure. We then head east toward [[D27]] to begin looking for signs of the [[centaur]]s to see if they know anything about the [[Varnhold]] vanishing and make camp for the evening.
