On the 1st day of Fairus the [[Swordlords]] are giving away charters for the River Kingdoms. Pelam's Rest Stop. Told to meet a sword lord's seneschal. At the end of Celestral Star Day the 24 (Saturday) "Welcome to [[Restov]], the rumors are true. Convocation of the [[swordlords]] has determined that the Stolen Lands must be pacified. Due to the current political situation the sword lord's armies are unable to move and take care of this issue themselves.

We were given 4 days to decide, report back on Feast Day (Oath Day) with group of 3-5 people. Staying at [[Inn of the Dancing Dog]] and met Grikk, Roland and Kessler. We meet for 4 days and learn how we work together as a team outside of [[Restov]]. We meet at [[Governor's Square]] on Oath day and meet [[Pelem Assiri]] & 4 sword lords.

We are tasked with going to [[Geography_-_Stolen_Lands#The_Greenbelt|The Greenbelt]] (36 miles East and West and 60 miles South of Oleg's Trading Post. Strive against banditry & unlawful behavior. Execute by sword or rope all who do not swear to give up their lives of thievery. Travel will be approximately 96 miles away from Restov. 4 days (6 days due to Kessler and his damn short legs.) of travel by foot. [I'm the only one with a horse.]

We followed South Roslyn Road to [[Oleg's Trading Post]]. Met [[Svetlana]], wife of owner ([[Oleg]]) who offered us wine when we arrived. They need assistance vs. bandits that have been attacking/stealing their goods. Usually 10 or so bandits with a cloaked figure (armed with a bow.) and a woman of evil demeanor. [[Svetlana]] fears the cloaked man. They only came here 4 months ago but stay here because it is their home.

We inspected the catapults at the trading post but found them to be worthless. There was a Jazon Hunter that was in the trading post who left after we arrived. Group attempted to Sense Motive to determine his honesty. We are charged 5sp/bed and 2sp/animal. Oleg has a wanted poster for a [[Tazelwurm]] giving 600gp's for any who can provide an undamaged head to him. (He wants to use it as a figurehead/conversation piece.) It has poison breath and is found only in forests and swamps. (It is a rare creature.)

1 hour after sunrise 6 horses and 4 riders arrive at the trading post and demand gold & equipment from Oleg. The leader has a silver necklace with a stag skull (icon of the [[Stag Lord]]. Roland takes the treasure from the dead bandits. We captured one bandit alive and had [[Tyr]] (Wolf Animal Companion) guarding him. [[Suryo]] the bandit was interrogated and told us the following: The Stag Lord is located in the Southern Forest, the Hooded person's name was 'Haps Briden' from [[Restov]] and had been in the Guard but fled the city due to his involvement with a protection racket in [[Restov]]. He left his wife and 2 children. He is known to be cruel. The woman "Kressel" uses hatchet's as her primary weapons. When she arrived at the Stag Lord's camp (He visits every 2 weeks.) The [[Stag Lord]] was impressed her (she maimed a number of men who tried to rape her.). Usually the camp has 12 bandits but there should be 8 bandits in camp now.

Bandit camp is 36 miles to the South where Skunk River (?) and [[Shrike River]] meet.

Oleg's wife [[Svetlana]] also had her wedding band stolen by the bandits. (Kressel). <Brass wedding ring with a single pearl.>
